Originally built in 1860, the Bedford Arms is an attractive Elizabethan-style inn that was once owned by the Duke of Bedford.

There are 18 beautifully appointed en suite rooms, all of which have satellite TV and high quality toiletries and bathroom products.

10 of the bedrooms are individually designed and decorated in a traditional style, reflecting the hotel's historic past. There are also 8 new stylish and contemporary rooms. These include 2 spacious four-poster suites, one of which has a jacuzzi.

Most of the bedrooms have wonderful views of either the hotel gardens or the surrounding Chiltern countryside.

The hotel has 2 bars and a beautiful oak-panelled restaurant. The restaurant offers a traditional menu and has recently received an AA Rosette award for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses.
