Lavender and Lace Guest House

Lavender & Lace is a 4 Star Gold, Grade II listed, timber framed, Tudor town house dating back to early 1500. Situated in a residential street in the heart of Hastings Old Town with its mix of small independent shops, antique shops, bars and excellent restaurants. Explore the historic streets and twittens, many used in the filming of Foyles War. We are just 300 metres from the historic fishing beach and beautiful Country park offering some of the most spectacular scenery in East Sussex.

Your hosts Tina and Paul are passionate about good service and our aim is to provide a warm welcome and relaxing and enjoyable stay at our beautifully maintained home.

We are delighted to have been awarded, at our last inspection, the coveted Breakfast Award from Quality in Tourism for the choice, quality and service of our breakfast.

Breakfast at Lavender & Lace is a leisurely affair. Cooked every morning, fresh for you, served in our heavily timbered breakfast room. Where possible we always try to use local produce. Our menu consists of English, Continental and vegetarian options. To accompany your cooked breakfast we have a selection of fresh fruits in season, many gathered from our own allotment, along with Tina's home made yoghurt and a selection of home made preserves and marmalade.

Here at Lavender & Lace we believe it is the little things that make the difference and pride ourselves on attention to detail. All our rooms are decorated to a high standard with Egyptian cotton bed linen, large bath sheets, cosy bathrobes and quality toiletries. Fresh milk is offered daily and there is a well stocked hospitality tray. All our rooms have flat screen LCD/DVD televisions, and a wide selection of reading material to entertain. Free WIFI broadband access is available throughout the house.

As many of our guests wish to enjoy a relaxing break and due to the age and layout of the house we do not accept children under the age of 12 years.
