Origins at The White Lion

Since The White Lion was purchased in May 2008, the whole site has undergone extensive renovation into a beautiful wine bar / cocktail bar which will serve light international tapas style food in a sophisticated contemporary environment.

The premises will be called "Origins" and operated by Knowle Inns Limited. The name "Origins" comes from Darwin's book 'Origin of the Species' which was published in the same year as The White Lion was first opened, 150 years ago.
